Wanted persons arrested in Surigao

July 7, 2008 - Two wanted persons were arrested by the personnel of Rosario Municipal Police Station and Surigao City Police Station respectively, in two separate operations, recently.

Said persons were identified as Remedios Fallete Asio, 31 years old, married, housekeeper and resident of Purok-5, Maligaya, Tagbayagan, Rosario, Agusan del Sur. She was apprehended last Friday (June 27) at 5:00 in the afternoon for estafa.

Another wanted person Celso Cabuga, 56 years old, married, carpenter and resident of Ferdinand Street, Barangay Washington, Surigao City was arrested on Wednesday (July 2) at 3:45 in the afternoon for violation of section 301 of the National Building Code of the Philippines.

Said apprehended persons are now detained in their arresting police stations. (pia)
