Surigao cops conduct random "operation bakal" in barangays

A random Operation Bakal was conducted at the Surigao City Port Borromeo St, Barangay Taft, Surigao City by the elements of Surigao City Police Station led by PSUPT Ramir Perlito Perlas, COP on Friday (August 1) at 9:00 in the evening.

The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified as Lucio Briones, 24 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio File, Barangay Mat-i, Surigao City where a 9MM Pietro Beretta color black with SN N571952 with one magazine loaded with five live ammos owned by the Philippine National Police was confiscated from his possession.

Suspect now detained at Surigao City Police Station while a case is being prepared for filing in court against the suspect. (pia)
