Cong. Romarate sponsors Surgical Mission to Alegriahanons

The whole day of October 18, 2008 was the first surgical mission sponsored by Congressman Guillermo A. Romarate, Jr. to the constituents in cooperation of the Local Government Unit of Alegria, Surigao del Norte headed by Hon. Mayor Dominador G. Esma, Jr. Said activity was also attended by Municipal Officials, Barangay Officials, BHW volunteers, employees of the Municipal Health Office and other local offices during the occasion.

The said mission was personally attended by Honorable Congressman Romarate with surgical mission doctors like Dr. Uldarico S. Uriarte, Dr. Eunice R. Uriarte and Dr. Michael Ian R. Uriarte who gave their full support to the medical outreach program of the congressman.

On that day, there were 104 families coming from different barangays of the municipality who registered and availed the medical mission. Medicines were provided to those who have sickness and 14 persons received circumcision and cyst operations. There are still patients who are in need of those services and no less than the Congressman himself promised to have this kind of medical program to be scheduled regularly seeing the demand of the people in his second congressional district of the Province of Surigao del Norte.
