Tubay town cops investigate vehicular accident (Edison Lee and his wife)

BUTUAN CITY (November 13) – On Tuesday (November 11) at 7:25 in the evening at the National Highway of Purok-1, Barangay Doña Rosario, Tubay, Agusan del Norte, one unit Isuzu D-Max pick up color blue with Plate Number KCY 303 driven by Edison Lee y Miranda,while traveling from Surigao City bound for Butuan City, upon reaching at the abovementioned place, accidentally bumped to a ten-wheeler truck color blue with Plate Number PDK 814 loaded with falcata logs which resulted to the instantaneous death of the driver Edison M. Lee and one passenger identified as Charade Tan, both of legal age.

Initial investigation disclosed that the ten-wheeler truck was on parking while having a repair of its wheels when the said Izusu D-Max approaches heading towards Butuan City and accidentally bumped the rear portion of the ten-wheeler truck.

Upon arrival of the responding PNP elements of Tubay Municipal Police Station, the driver and the crew of the ten-wheeler truck were no longer found. Tubay Municipal Police Station is still conducting investigation of the incident. (PO3 Rene Boy Ocares Bernaldez, PNP-PRO-13)
