TWO drivers of opposition leader Jonathan Guardo were seriously hurt when the sports utility vehicle they were riding fell about 40 feet down a cliff in barangay Tisa, Cebu City about 4 p.m. yesterday.
Ronnie Oraporap, 24, and Manuel Laurente, 24, of Surigao City were rushed to the Chong Hua Hospital by paramedics of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation.
Laurente allegedly drove the Toyota Fortuner with plate number ZEN 375 when it fell from the third level of the South Hill Subdivision in Tisa.
It was not yet clear what caused the incident.
A certain Nelson said he saw the vehicle accelerating down the cliff.
