Report on robbery incident in DANARA Travel and Tours

On February 20, 2009 at 11:00 in the morning at Vasquez Street, Surigao City, Danara Travel and Tours located at the above place was robbed by three unidentified armed men carting cash money of Php 3,700.00 from the employees of Danara Travel and Tours and two units cellular phones (nokia 3310 and 6120).

Further, several items were also carted from another victim who was present at the time of the incident identified as Mae Arreza Pichay, 46 years old, single and a resident of 15 Alaska Street, Oro Vista Royal Subdivision, Antipolo City.

The carted items were cash money of Php 20,000.00; Gucci bag worth Php 40,000.00; Versace reading glass worth Php 15,000.00; Pearl earrings worth Php 25,000.00; RCBC ATM Card; Visa Credit Card; and other important documents.

Suspects immediately fled after the incident onboard a single motorcycle. Hot pursuit operation is still conducted by Surigao City Police Station for the possible arrest of the suspects. (PNP-13/ PIA-13)
