An earthquake hit parts of Northeastern Mindanao Sunday afternoon, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported.
The tremor was recorded 3:54 p.m. at Magnitude 4.7. Its epicenter was located 70 kilometers northeast of Surigao City or at 10.05 degrees North, 126.06 degrees East. The quake was reported to have occurred at a depth of 60 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt at Intensity 4 in Socorro, Surigao del Norte, Intensity 3 in Siargao Island and Surigao City and Intensity 2 in Dinagat Islands.
