Sixteen congressmen, their wives and daughters will join President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's 11-day official visit to Japan and Brazil, one of the lawmakers said.
Surigao Del Norte Representative Francisco Matugas listed down the names of lawmakers who will travel with the President as he sought permission from the Sandiganbayan to travel abroad. He has a pending graft case.
Aside from himself, Matugas said the President’s part will include Manila Rep. Amado Bagatsing, Batangas Rep. Victoria Reyes, Masbate Rep. Rizalina Seachon-Lanete, Quezon City Rep. Mary Ann Susano, Abra Rep. Cecilia Seares Luna, Bataan Rep. Herminia Roman, YACAP partylist Rep. Carol Jayne Lopez, Nueva Ecija Rep. Joseph Gilbert Violago, Misamis Oriental Rep. Yevgeny Vincente Emano, Compostela Valley Rep. Rommel Amatong, La Union Rep. Thomas Dumpit, Jr., ABONO partylist Rep. Robert Estrella, TUCP partylist Rep. Raymond Mendoza, Pangasinan Rep. Ma. Rachel Arenas, and Buhay partylist Rep. Carissa Coscolluela.
