Under the spirit of voluntarism the services of the Brgy. Tanods and Lupong Tagapamayapa are free and self sacrifice. Knowing their predicaments City Mayor Pons Casurra in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross’ Administrator Marilou Talingting decided to provide insurance coverage to all Barangy Tanods and members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa.With the issuance of Insurance cards, each of these volunteer workers could easily avail consultation, medication, hospitalization even mortuary assistance in case of death.
