Mayor Pons formally opened the One-Stop-Shop processing of business permits at exactly 8:00 o’clock in the morning of January 4, 2010.The venue for the permit processing is the Surigao City Auditorium and is expected to cater to the businessmen of the city at the most expeditious manner.
For the last four years, the average processing time has been maintained at the level of less than 2 and a half hour and the same is seen to be achieved this year or even better.
The first 10 businessmen who were issued their respective business permits were honored in simple rites at the office of the City Mayor immediately after the Mayor signed the permits in their presence.
As announced, the processing of the permits will continue until midnight of January 25, 2010. (surigaocity.gov.ph)
