Mild quake hits parts of Surigao

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake shook parts of Surigao del Norte at 9:39 a.m. Monday.

The quake struck 85 kilometers northeast of Surigao City and had a depth of 10 kilometers.

It was felt at Intensity 4 in Socorro, Surigao del Norte, Intensity 3 in Surigao City and General Luna, and Intensity 2 in other parts of the province.

There were no reported casualties or damaged infrastructure after the earthquake. (abs-cbnnews)
