Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Surigao del Norte need not to worry of being delisted from the program if they don't vote for certain candidates for the barangay and SK elections.
Reports reached DSWD said that some 4Ps beneficiaries were allegedly being threatened to be delisted by some municipal mayors.
The local social welfare office in Surigao del Norte clarified that the 4Ps program is a national program being implemented by DSWD and not the local government units much less the barangays. (PIA)
