Three armed men on board red single Yamaha brand STX motorcycle held up the LBC Surigao City Branch office past 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, carting away five mobile phones from LBC personnel and customers and Php94,296 cash.
The LBC branch office and mini warehouse is located at the at the busy and crowded commercial district along Borromeo Street, Taft, Surigao City.
Police said three LBC employees who were inside the office at that time of the incident when the three motorcycle riding suspects barged in at around 1:10 p.m.
Two of the three suspects entered the LBC office premises and announced a hold up brandishing their .45 cal pistols. The suspects also ordered three other people, customers inside the LBC office to surrender all their mobile phones and cash money. It was not determined how much cash money the robbers took away from LBC customers.
Three LBC employees later identified as Bebiba Cosmiano Jabay, 46, Rizel Barrete Anino, 22, and Jasmin Barredo Macunte, 28, told police probers the suspects forcibly took away from them the LBC branch earnings amounting to Php 94,296 in cash
Responding Surigao City police immediately conducted investigation of the incident, report claimed.
