A predawn magnitude-3.6 quake rocked Surigao City today, but state seismologists said no damage was expected.
Phivolcs said the quake was recorded at 5:42 a.m., and was tectonic in origin.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake’s epicenter was 43 km southwest of Surigao City.
The quake was felt at Intensity II in Surigao City.
Phivolcs said no aftershock was expected from Friday’s predawn quake. (FEA/ST/GMA)
