A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook parts of Surigao City on Monday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Philvocs said that the earthquake hit at 4:04 a.m.. It said the quake's epicenter was located 67 kilometers north of Surigao City.
The quake was felt at Intensity 2 at Surigao City, and Libagon, Southern Leyte.
Philvocs said it was not expecting reports of damage from the tremor or aftershocks. (abs-cbnnews.com)
