District Engineer Linda A. Uypala of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Surigao del Norte 1st Engineering District said today that her office is a recipient of a number of projects from the Road Board program under the Motor Vehicle User's Charge (MVUC) funded projects.
According to Uypala the fund for this program was intended to maintain and keep the national and secondary road in good condition.
She said that a P10 Million worth of project was already downloaded for the repair and rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of Daang Maharlika (Surigao-Agusan Road Section).
“It involves rehabilitation of 11.1 km. damaged paved road and asphalt overlay of 0.6205 km. with exception,” she said.
